For over 25 years,’ 8 Ball Joe’ have been ever present on the Midland’s music scene.

 

Joe Delfuego - Guitar and Vocals, Chico Fernandez – Bass Guitar and Bone Skeletana – Drums,  ‘The Bearded Trio’, started as a band performing entirely original songs and released three well received albums:

 

‘Dance Higher, Dance Faster’ – An earthy, laid back album which allowed their blues influences to shine through.

 

‘Kiss the Monkey’ is an EP that satisfied the bands heavier influences. The seminal anthem ‘Crack the Whip’ won The Friday Rock Show's ‘Rock Wars’ on Radio One hosted by the legendary DJ Tommy Vance gaining the boys both local and national acclaim.

 

The final album ‘D.O.G.’ was a metal edged belter of a beast. A six, six, six-pack of no-holds barred nastiness.

 

‘8 Ball Joe’ decided to become more accessible to their audience by adding cover songs to the set. The present day performances are filled with an eclectic selection of songs from artists including ‘Rolling Stones’, ‘David Bowie’, ‘The Faces’, ‘ZZ Top’, ‘The Stranglers’, ‘Tom Petty’, ‘Creedence Clearwater Revival’, ‘Mott the Hoople’, ‘T-Rex’, ‘Billy Idol’ and the ‘Beastie Boys’ to name a few.

 

Don’t be fooled by the warm glow of the ‘Orange’ valve amplifiers, the shine of the  ‘Pearl’ drum kit and the vintage beauty of the Fender and Gibson guitars. Be warned, ‘8 Ball Joe’ aim to fill your head with unadulterated Rock and Roll!!
